In this water purification plant, raw water is from river. At the begnning, river water will b passed through all in one sedimentation device to remove some big particles, like suspended solid, mud and sand. Then flow to mechanical filters to remove susended solid, colloid and silt. At last to activated carbon filter to remove organic matter, residual chlorine, color, odor and some impurities. All the devices above are sonsist of a perfect pre-treatment system.
The whole system could be controlled automatically by relay, water level detector, pressure transducer or manually by man power. Usually, the system is set to be controlled automatically. The system could provide pure water continuously. It's easy, safe and reliable.

1. What is lamella clarifier
Compact lemella clarifier is a comprehensive purification facility, which gather flocculation, clarification, filtration and other processes. It's convenience to purify the general ground water, river water and other sources to standard living water, mainly used in rural areas, towns, farms, army barracks, small medium enterprise and other places to imporve the living water's quality.
2. Operating Principle of Lamella Clarifier
Its process flow is much similiar with urban water factory. Includes flocculation tank, sedimentation tank, filtrtion tank, water quality sabilizing device, backwash device, pumps and electrical control cabinet. Descriptions are presented below:
Flocculation Tank: raw water with flocculants flow into flocculation tank from inlet pipe, through the agitator, suspended solids are reached with flocculants and become alum flocs.
Sedimentation Tank: Alum flocs flow to sedimentation tank, by the plate settler/lamellar, solid and liquid are separated. And sludges are discharged to the mud bucket.
Filtration Tank: After sedimentation, water flows to filtration tank. Inside the filtration tank, from bottom to top, respectively are water distributors, silica sand and anthracitic coal. Flow rate is 10m/h. Finally, water flows to the clen water tank for other usage. Usually, backwash cycle of filtration tank is about 5-10 mimutes.
